Another season is upon us and I look ahead to the upcoming rugby season with excitement and optimism both on and off the pitch. There are many exciting opportunities for our club and its members in the near future. As I begin another year as club president I am very proud of the progress our club continues to make. The various committees and volunteers have all worked very hard to maintain the high standards we are seeking to achieve. This has been evident with our very successful Mini and Junior sections, with the continued hard work of the coaches and their assistants these will be the building blocks for the future of the club. As the Club continues to grow and development all levels, a greater demand is placed on the Club's financial resources, a significant proportion of which is provided by our sponsors- in that regard I would like to take this opportunity to formally thank all our sponsors, their support as always is invaluable in helping to provide a firm foundation from which the club can move forward. On the senior side I would like to offer my support and good wishes to all the club captains- all the best lads for yet another demanding season Finally, my thanks to everyone concerned with the club, lets continue to keep up the good work which, I am sure will bring the club further success in the not too distant future and good luck for the 2007-8 season.
